Gary shares his childhood story of growing up in a military family, serving in the United States Marine Corps, and how God brought him and his wife of 25 years together. Not knowing it was God's plan at the time, but after becoming a successful national touring comedian, and being selected by Showtime as ‘One of the Funniest People in America', his career would suddenly end one early, rainy morning, with a near fatal car wreck. Gary reveals how those last two seconds before surviving this six car pile up on the interstate was part of God's plan for him.

He talks about living with severe clinical depression and how he rebounded from the toll this terrible illness took on his life, family, and friends.

Then, when things were turning around, he lost his father to Cancer. Gary shares his emotional story of how he saw God's presence during his father's final days and what those last visits revealed to him about Heaven.
